Program Description:

This one hour webcast is designed to help Indiana afterschool providers organize successful advocacy events and get ready for Lights On Indiana. Lights On events are hosted by afterschool, school and community partners to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of afterschool and summer learning programs.

Viewers will hear directly from Indiana’s education, public policy, and afterschool leaders about strategies for mobilizing support for out-of-school time programs. The national Afterschool Alliance will introduce you to tools and resources for your event.

A special thanks to our speakers and Indiana Department of Education for hosting the webcast.

Please note: The webcast is in two sections, the first half hour includes pre-taped interviews, and the second half-hour includes live presentations, questions and answers.
